We're Still Air Co, a New Zealand based brand curating luxury hand blown glass reed diffusers for the modern home. Every sphere is refillable, every scent release is slow and passive, and every piece is made to define a room rather than disappear into it.

Why hand blown glass

Ours luxury glass diffusers are different. Each Still Air Co reed diffuser is housed in a hand-blown borosilicate glass sphere — a sculptural object first, a fragrance vessel second. No two pieces are entirely identical, which is part of the point: it's designed to be looked at, not just smelt. Resulting in a more considered, refillable object chosen to be displayed in your home.

What is borosilicate glass? 

Borosilicate glass is a premium artisan material, lightweight  yet durable, with exceptional clarity. Designed to last and be re used, this luxury glass diffuser can be cleaned and refilled with the fragrance of your choice. This is an important aspect, as it has been curated to reduce waste so you can keep your diffuser for years.

How it works

There's no heat, no electricity and no flame. Natural reeds draw the fragrance oil up through the glass sphere and release scent slowly and passively into the room, so it builds gradually rather than overwhelming a space the way a candle or plug-in diffuser can. Each sphere is refillable, so the glass itself is designed to be kept and reused not thrown away once the oil runs out.

Designed for the way a room feels  

Being a curator of a beautiful family home myself, I noticed a gap nobody seemed to be addressing: Home fragrance diffusers that look luxury and intentionally chosen were hard to find. I couldn't find one that fit my aesthetic. I wasn't interested in having a mass produced item with a loud logo and a sticker on it that didn't fit my vibe. In a personal space like a home, where every object has been chosen with intention, the diffuser was almost always the exception.

Is a Still Air Co diffuser flameless and safe to leave out? Yes. There's no flame, heat, or electricity involved — fragrance is released passively through the reeds.

Can the glass sphere be refilled? Yes. Each sphere is designed to be refilled with fragrance oil, so you keep the glass and simply replace the scent when it runs low.

How long does the scent last? Because diffusion is passive rather than heat-driven, scent release is slower and more gradual than a candle, typically lasting several weeks depending on room size and reed count.
